Your privacy matters. Here's exactly what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
The short version: We do not collect, store, or sell your reaction time results or personal data. Your scores exist only in your browser during your session. We use Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics for anonymous traffic insights. You can opt out of both.
If you contact us via the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Your reaction time scores are calculated and displayed entirely within your browser. We do not transmit, store, or process your test results on our servers. When you close the page or refresh, your results are gone.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect standard log data including your IP address (anonymised), browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and approximate geographic location (country/region level). This data is used in aggregate and is not linked to any individual.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose not described in this policy.
VoltReflex uses the following types of cookies:
A single cookie stores your light/dark mode preference locally. This cookie contains no personal information and is never transmitted to our servers.
Google AdSense and Google Analytics set their own cookies to serve relevant ads and measure traffic. You can control or delete these via your browser settings or via Google's Ads Settings.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Blocking third-party cookies may affect ad personalisation but will not affect the reaction time test itself.
VoltReflex uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.
We do not pass any personally identifiable information to Google AdSense beyond what Google collects independently through its own cookies and tracking pixels.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use VoltReflex. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including page views, session duration, device type, and geographic region. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. We do not use Google Analytics Advertising Features.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
VoltReflex does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). The reaction time test is suitable for all ages as it collects no personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information via the contact form, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect any personal data we hold โ including encrypted HTTPS connections, secure hosting infrastructure, and restricted internal access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of VoltReflex after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
